Getting started

Everything you need to set up and use the Sweep Certificates platform.

What to use and when

The website

For managing your customers and configuring your business settings and users.

Any changes you make to business settings on the website will need to be downloaded onto the app (see below).

The app

When you are on site and want to produce a certificate, warning notice, or invoice at the end of an appointment.

When completing an appointment or managing a customer and you have internet connectivity, the changes will be available immediately on the website — no need to synchronise the database. The app periodically fetches updated customers and appointments, and you can keep up to date via the 'Sync company data' button on the settings page.

Getting started during your trial

On your dashboard, a short getting started strip shows your progress and the recommended next step. Open the guide from the strip, or from the checklist icon in the top bar, to work through the full list. Exploring steps can unlock more free trial days, up to 30.

The guide is organised as two columns:

  • • Office admin. Website tasks such as adding a customer, updating settings, and viewing the calendar.
  • • Sweep. Tasks you do in the mobile app on site, such as issuing a certificate.

New companies also get a few setup to-dos on the dashboard (branding, customer import and issuing a certificate) so you can track the basics alongside the guide.

Your business settings

When you first create your account, you will have default settings with everything working out of the box. This gets you up and running and you can customise them all later via the company settings page.

Getting the latest business settings on the app when you make a change

  1. Log into the app (this will download everything the first time you log in)
  2. Via notification - the app will receive a message if notifications are enabled when company settings are updated, which will automatically get the latest updates
  3. Via the 'Sync company data' button - tap the gear icon in the top right on the app's home screen to go to the Settings page and then press the button to sync
